1. If you're not jetlagged, try the the "Jungle Breakfast" at the Mandai Zoo. Yes,
it may be difficult to wake up after you'
ve done a 12-hour overnighter but it's
well worth it. It includes special animal appearances such as those by the Orang
Utan
s, the recycling Otter and the magnificent reticulated Python. They will
perform amazing stints as you enjoy breakfast from a selection of popular items.

2. Feast on the local food at Lau Pa Sat. Some might argue that there are other
places serving tastier dishes but this is a great option as you can get them all
under one roof and it's centrally situated. It was built in 1894 and is the largest
remaining Victorian filigree cast-iron structure in South-east Asia. It was formerly
a wet market known as Telok Ayer market and is now restored to a hawker
centre offering a wide range of Singapore local food.

3. Window shopping along Orchard Road (Singapore's busiest shopping strip) is
also a must. If you have money to spare, by all means shop till you drop. There
are malls on both sides of the road boasting thousands of individual retail stores
from expensive designer boutiques to reasonable outlets and shopping carts. If
you are there during Christmas season you'll get a treat to the festive lights
decorating the buildings
and street.

4. Take the scenic cable car ride to Sentosa Island. Once on the island there are
many things to do and see; laze on the beaches, visit Universal Studios
Singapore, Underwater World, Dolphin Lagoon, Butterfly Park and Insect World
or Fort Siloso. In the evening there is also the famous Musical Fountain.

5. Have a Singapore Sling at The Raffles Hotel even if you're
not staying there.
Just pop in
to the Long Bar and sample their legendary cocktail. The main
ingredients are gin, cherry brandy and fruit juice. Whilst you're there, whip out
your camera to capture this beautifully restored colonial-style structure. If you
have time, you can also try their sumptuous afternoon tea at the Tiffin Room.
Let's be honest about it; one of the best perks that come
with the Flight Attendant career is you get to do the
touristy things!

Dear Audrey,

Thank you so much for your ebook. I just wanted to let you know that I was offered
a cabin crew position with Jetstar. After reading your book I really felt informed and
confident to answer the questions in the interview. Most of the questions that were
asked were variations of the questions in your book. I really felt prepared and I
cant thank you enough, it was money well spent!
