7 things you can do today to become a Flight Attendant
© A love 2008
1. Learn a second language or Improve your English. If English isn’t your first language, it will be essential
to brush up on your English skills.
A majority of international airlines require their flight attendants to be fluent in
both written and spoken English. If this an area you're lacking, it is important that you get help.

2. Learn some basic or advanced grooming / makeup skills. Being the face that represents the airline, a flight
attendant is expected to be well groomed.

3. Be confident in the water. This is a must – go throw yourself in a pool! Or maybe get a swimming instructor to
help build your confidence.

4. Get some service industry or work experience. Look at getting some; it's as close as your local restaurant!
Work experience always looks great in resumes. An additional benefit would be to get a reference from your previous
employer.

5. Get First Aid experience. There are many free or cheap first aid courses that will serve you well and look good on
your resume.

6. Go take a practice interview for a non-cabin crew job.

7. Read my ebook! It's crammed with advice and suggestions on the Interview process , how to act and
what questions will be asked (with example answers).
You have 30,000 other young hopefuls competing for that

How YOU can pass the interview and start your career in the world's most glamorous career
Hi Audrey,
I purchased your ebook and it was very informative. There were some great Q and A's.
I am happy to tell you I went to the group interview with Skywest on April 27th and
passed it! I was selected to do a one on one interview with the recruiters and I
received an email from them yesterday inviting me to training on May 26th. I would
like to thank you for writing the book and I am happy I purchased it.
